Hey you guys, I was delighted when Lisa Ordaz called to say that there was a reunion this summer (held on my birthday, so I couldn't go) that she heard about from Ron Kretz at the Garlic festival... wow, 35 years!

After high school, (I graduated in 73) I went to Gav and met my husband Tim in a water color class...I wanted to major in art history. But he got a job with the Forest Service so we lived in Nevada outside of Las Vegas for a year, 2 children later I went back to school and became a regisitered nurse and we lived in Hollister. I worked in Wheeler and South Valley Hospital in Critical Care for about 12 years before I made the change to being a home health nurse in the Gilroy Hollister area. We lived in Hollister for 30 years....my dad died in 2000 and my mom died in 2005...and I realized my grown children were not going to move back to Hollister, so 2 years ago we moved to Santa Rosa to be close to them. Yes, Nora we live very close to each other....I'm on Melita Road! I am a home hospice nurse now...and am really enjoying my job...what could be nicer than driving around Sonoma County to nice people's homes all day?

Tim and I have been married for 34 years. He is now a chef after working 25 years for Nob Hill in Hollister (needless to say the Forest Service job never panned out) and yes girls, he cooks me dinner.

I had my 53rd birthday yesterday, my children Elizabeth 33 (teaches English at Diablo Valley College), Magy (32 married mother of 2) and Annie (cosmetologist and mother of 1) their husbands, my sister and my grandchildren Cora 7, Cameron 4, Julia 3, and Sasha 2 were all in the backyard for the day.

We live on 1/2 acre, so I like to garden and mow the lawn. I grow lavender and make stuff from it, I also knit and read alot. I would love to be a book club.(I horned in on my daughter's but that didn't go over too well

Life is good, and just think alot of it I can thank Gilroy High for!
